Statement of Work (SOW)

To implement and manage the BD Alaris Management Server and integrate it with existing BD Alaris infusion pumps at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) to improve operational efficiency, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.

• Provide personnel, equipment, materials, and services for the implementation and integration.

• Remotely install the virtual machine for the BD Alaris Management Server.

• Install and test software functions, and assist with anti-virus and backup software installation.

• Create a customized network configuration file and test network connectivity.

• Integrate the server with existing BD Alaris infusion pumps, ensuring proper configuration and updated drug libraries.

• Implement security measures compliant with DHA cybersecurity requirements (eMASS ID: 3982) and BACH security policies.

• Migrate existing data from standalone pumps to the new server, validating data integrity.

• Provide comprehensive training to BACH personnel on system usage and administration.

• Conduct thorough testing (functional, integration, user acceptance) and provide documentation.

• Provide complete documentation, including system configuration, integration details, testing results, training materials, and an "As-Built" document.

• Reduction in Time Required for Drug Library Updates: 90% within six months.

• Compliance with DHA Cybersecurity Requirements: 100% within one year.

• Decrease in Device Failures: 25% within one year.

• Reduction in Medication Errors: 15% within one year.

• System Uptime: 99.9% (excluding scheduled maintenance).

• Period of Performance: TBD

• Place of Performance: Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH), Fort Campbell, KY. Remote configuration may be performed off-site.

• Project Management: Designate an experienced project manager and maintain a detailed project plan.

• Security Configuration: Comply with DHA cybersecurity requirements, eMASS ID: 3982, and BACH security policies. Maintain 802.11 compliant wireless network. Specific Active Directory and user account requirements apply.

• AT/OPSEC & Security Requirements: Adhere to DoD, DA, and DHA regulations including AT Level I training, iWATCH training, JKO training, OPSEC Awareness training, IA/IT training, and IA/IT certification. Data must be stored and transmitted on government-owned equipment and encrypted if necessary. Develop an OPSEC SOP/Plan within 90 days.

• Government Furnished Information (GFI): System Administrator for software installation assistance, designated point of contact, and physical access.

• Contractor-Furnished Items: All necessary personnel, equipment, materials, software licenses, tools, and test equipment.

• Travel: May be required for on-site implementation, training, and troubleshooting, in accordance with FTR.

• Reporting: Weekly status reports, monthly progress reports, incident reports, and a final project report.

• Acceptance Criteria: All systems functioning, data migrated and validated, personnel trained, all documentation delivered and approved, and customer confirmation form executed.
