Quick Summary
The United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) is conducting market research through a Request for Information (RFI) to identify innovative autonomous transportation capabilities for global operations. This RFI seeks commercial solutions, technologies, and developmental roadmaps across all modes (air, land, sea, multi-modal) for both passenger and cargo movements. Responses are due May 26, 2026.
Purpose & Scope
USTRANSCOM, responsible for globally integrated mobility operations, is exploring how autonomous and semi-autonomous systems can enhance future global mobility. This RFI aims to understand commercial industry capabilities to improve safety, efficiency, velocity, and global reach. It is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue one. The Government will not pay for any costs incurred in response.
