Scope of Work

This requirement is for the manufacture and design of "INSERT, SCREW THREAD" according to specific technical documentation. Key requirements include:

• Design & Material: Must conform to manufacturer NAVAL SHIP SYSTEMS COMMAND (80064), Drawing 803-2177142, and Part Number 803-2177142-5XX-22.
• Technical Documentation: Access to associated technical documents (drawings, technical data, military specifications, commercial item descriptions) is available at https://logistics.unnpp.gov/ecommerce, requiring pre-registration and a password.
• Quality Assurance: Contractors must provide and maintain an inspection system acceptable to the Government.
• Packaging: MIL-PRF-23199 and MIL-DTL-24466 for cleanliness control, and MIL-STD 2073 apply. Fire retardant packaging is no longer required.
• Mercury Exclusion: Mercury or mercury-containing compounds are prohibited from being intentionally added or coming into direct contact with hardware.
• Deliverables: A Certificate of Compliance per DI-MISC-81356 is required at the time of material delivery. Detailed guidance on DD Form 1423 for data item deliverables is provided, including distribution statements and pricing groups.
