Statement of Work (SOW)

To maintain the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) Intrusion Detection System (IDS) as an up-to-date, fully functioning system for physical space security.

• Quarterly Inspections: Includes control panel, primary and backup batteries, motion detectors, secure door, and tamper switches. Preventative maintenance will be conducted during these inspections.

• Semi-Annual Testing: Twice a year, the alarm system will be tested to ensure full functionality and proper alerting of monitoring systems.

• Emergency Repairs: On-call technicians must be available to respond within 24 hours to conduct emergency repairs for sudden system malfunctions.

• System Details: The IDS is an XR550DEA-G alarm system with encryption, a 350A gray enclosure, and two Lead-Acid, 12 Volt, 7.0Ah batteries.

Work to begin within 14 days of submittal approval and completed within 30 days. The maintenance contract covers one year of maintenance and inspections.

• Workmanship: Must comply with 29 CFR 1910 and 1926. Work must be scheduled with the Technical Representative and completed in a timely fashion, minimizing impact on the command. All work must comply with Federal, EPA, OSHA, and Louisiana laws and regulations.
