Purpose
The objective is to procure and install 75-inch monitors and accompanying Apple TVs in two specific buildings (ATC5 and ATC6) at JBSA-Lackland AFB. This will enable Training Instructors to sync their iPads for visual display in dormitory classrooms, enhancing training delivery.
Scope of Work
The required services include:
- Procurement and installation of 48 (75-inch, non-smart) TVs.
- Procurement and installation of 38 Apple TVs (Model: A1625, Part Number: MHY93LL/A).
- Mounting of TVs into brick walls and mounting of Apple TV modules.
- Ensuring full functionality of all installed equipment.
- Providing all necessary materials, tools, and transportation for the design, installation, and startup of Audio Visuals.
- Ensuring all necessary inputs (e.g., electrical, installed technology) are on site.
- Performing comprehensive installation, testing, and certification.
Period & Place of Performance
Work will be performed at ATC5 and ATC6, 1135 Luke St, JBSA-Lackland AFB, TX 78236. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 0700-1600, excluding federal holidays and weekends.
Special Requirements
- Installation must be coordinated with the install POC at least two weeks prior to on-base work.
- Installers must pass a security check and possess a valid state license for base entry.
- Contractors must be familiar with the field of work to avoid voiding equipment warranties.
- No alterations to real property are permitted, other than mounting.
- Unauthorized photography on base is prohibited without Government POC approval.
- Bidders should ensure they quote the correct Apple TV hardware (Model A1625, Part MHY93LL/A) and note that HDMI cables are sold separately.
