Project Scope

- Installation of a 75 kW diesel stand-by generator with a sub-base fuel tank.
- Installation of an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) with bypass/isolation capabilities.
- Installation of a 12-ton DX water-cooled Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) unit.
- Interior improvements, including the addition of double doors to Room S145.
- Installation of a new 225A MLO panelboard. All work must comply with applicable codes and specifications, including UFGS 23 07 00 for insulation and a required load bank test. Building 127 must remain operational throughout construction, with utility outages scheduled for after hours.
Contract Details
- Contract Type: Task Order under an existing Multiple Award Construction (MACC) contract (Design-Build).
- Set-Aside: This is an 8(a) Set-Aside, restricted to listed 8(a) MACC contract holders only.
- Estimated Value: $500,000 - $1,000,000.
- Period of Performance: 420 calendar days from task order award.
- Liquidated Damages: $189.14 per calendar day for delays.
- Bonds: Performance and Payment Bonds are required within 10 calendar days of award. A Bid Guarantee (20% of offer price or $3,000,000, whichever is less) is also required.
