Scope of Work
The project requires the contractor to provide labor, materials, and equipment to:
- Relocate existing high-pressure air lines and electrical lines as needed.
- Weld new gussets and plate stiffeners.
- Attach new bolted cross bracing to the gussets.
- Perform a runway rail survey by a registered design professional before and after construction to ensure alignment with Crane Manufacturers Association of America Inc. (CMAA) No. 74 criteria.
- Remove existing lateral bracing and install new bracing and stiffeners as detailed in the "Bldg. 514 Crane Support Study" and drawings.
- Prepare, prime, and paint any exposed steel or disturbed areas to match existing color and sheen.
- Restore all surrounding walls or structural surfaces affected by the work. All work must be coordinated through the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and comply with various standards including EM-385-1-1, NAVFAC P307, and UFC 1-200-01. Materials must be new and manufactured/assembled in the USA.

The questionnaire seeks information on company details, CMMC 2.0 status, capabilities, NAICS/FSC/PSC codes, small business status, estimated costs, and timelines. Respondents must adhere to Operations Security (OPSEC) requirements and are advised not to include any classified, controlled unclassified, or Arms Export Controlled documents or information. A preconstruction meeting and a Building 514 Safety and Security Brief are mandatory for all contractor personnel. Access to Building 514 is limited, and strict adherence to safety, security, and environmental regulations is required. Photography and Portable Electronic Devices (PEDs) are prohibited inside NUWC Keyport Buildings.
