Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide a complete and usable beacon light system for critical life safety support at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Fort Eustis, VA. The system is essential for navigational aids, helping pilots locate airports and heliports, especially during night or low-visibility conditions.

• Relocate the existing beacon system from Air Traffic Control Tower B2416 to Cell Tower B13606.

• Provide all necessary equipment, materials, and labor for the installation.

• Ensure the updated system complies with applicable rules and regulations, including UFC 3-535-01, AC 150/5345-12, and AC 150/5345-53.

• Install a wireless control system for connectivity between the Air Traffic Control Tower and the beacon.

• Components include: beacon light, control box, photoelectric cell, control switch, pilot light, antennas, coaxial cables, power, and grounding components.

• Maintain the operational status of the existing beacon light until the new system is fully functional.

• Dispose of old system components upon completion.

• The new beacon light must meet applicable FAA regulations.

• The frequency used must be approved by Felker Airfield to avoid interference with existing systems.

• A 2-year warranty on equipment and workmanship is required.
