Purpose & Scope
The primary objective is to install a code-compliant underfloor electrical gutter system within the WAPA Data Center to support a new Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. The work includes furnishing and installing a 16-gauge steel gutter system capable of distributing both 120 VAC and 240 VAC branch circuits from designated electrical panels to strategically located receptacles. Specifically, the project requires the installation of eight (8) 240VAC, 20-amp receptacles (NEMA L6-20R) and eight (8) 120VAC, 20-amp receptacles (NEMA 5-20R). Each receptacle must have an individual dedicated 20-amp circuit breaker, with circuits distributed between independent A-side and B-side power sources for redundancy. All work must adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including testing and documentation.
