Purpose
This RFI/SS aims to gather information and survey available resources for insulating blankets for charcoal adsorbers. It is not a commitment by the U.S. Government, and no payment will be made for information submitted. The collected data will assist the DOE in planning for future requirements.
Scope of Work
BSA is seeking capabilities for providing insulating blankets for charcoal adsorbers used in Oil Removal Systems for Compressors A, B, and the Recovery Compressor. Specific requirements include:
- DN500 Adsorber: Blankets for an upper section (500.00 mm diameter, 1030.36 mm length) and a lower section (500.00 mm diameter, 1025.36 mm length).
- DN350 Adsorber: Blankets for an upper section (355.60 mm diameter, 1250.00 mm length) and a lower section (355.60 mm diameter, 670.00 mm length).
- Performance Standard: Each blanket must be rated to withstand a minimum temperature of 120°C (248°F).
