Shelf-Life Requirements

Contractor marking for shelf-life items must adhere to MIL STD 129, MIL-STD-130, MIL STD 290, or FED STD 123, including specific date formats (e.g., month/year).
Quality Assurance & Packaging
Contractors are responsible for all inspection requirements, ensuring compliance with the contract, and maintaining inspection records for 365 days post-delivery. Government Source Inspection per FAR 52.246-2 is required. Packaging must comply with MIL-STD 2073.
