Intent Notice: Bulk Delivery of Medical Gases for Indian Health Service (IHS) Pine Ridge Service Unit.
The Great Plains Area (GPA) Indian Health Service (IHS) Pine Ridge Service Unit hereby submits an Intent Notice to award a Sole Source, Firm Fixed Price, Commercial Service Purchase Order to establish a six (6) month contract to supply the Pine Ridge Hospital with bulk medical gases, rental of cylinders and supply of medical gas.
1. Authority: FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. 41 U.S.C. 3304 (a)(1).
2. Reason for Sole Source: The tank and its associated manifold, piping, and reserve bottles are owned, tested, and maintained by the contractor who also supplies the bulk oxygen gas.
3. Period of Performance: 01/01/2026-06/30/2026.
The synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, however, if any interested parties believe they can meet the above requirement, they may submit a statement of capabilities. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
