Quick Summary
The United States Air Force has issued a Special Notice indicating its intent to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price order to Slitherine Corporation for Command Professional Edition (PE) licenses. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations, but responsible sources may submit capability statements for consideration. The Government will use these responses to determine if a competitive procurement is warranted.
Scope of Work
This requirement is for Command Professional Edition Licenses, which are essential for the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL)/RAV to perform operational effectiveness assessments. These assessments focus on aerodynamic, structures, and integration technologies, providing critical data for developmental planning recommendations. The software's unique capability for rapid turn assessments is a key benefit, reducing reliance on more costly, higher-fidelity assessment tools. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 7A21 (Business Application Off The Shelf Software).
