Scope of Work
Advisors will provide strategic advice, technical assistance, and capacity building to central banks, ministries of finance, banking/non-banking supervision authorities, and deposit insurance agencies in countries with emerging or transitional economies. The goal is to strengthen financial systems, promote sound financial policies, regulations, and oversight, and support U.S. Treasury and U.S. Government economic and national security objectives worldwide.
Qualifications
OTA seeks candidates with expertise in areas such as financial sector development, banking supervision, financial sector data management, deposit insurance systems, problem bank resolution, restructuring/privatization of banks, financial literacy, digital financial services, payment systems, secured transactions, insurance supervision, financial system stability, central bank operations, monetary policy, credit analysis, and IFRS. Ideal candidates will have experience with international financial institutions, commercial banks, banking/insurance regulators (e.g., FDIC, OCC, Federal Reserve), or legal expertise. Prior overseas experience and language skills beyond English are advantageous but not mandatory. Candidates must be U.S. citizens, able to obtain a SECRET level security clearance, and State Department medical clearance for worldwide travel.
