The scrap stream may include mixed stainless scrap, shavings, panels, sheets, frames, food preparation equipment, and prefabricated stainless items with incidental foreign material. The estimated annual quantity is approximately 100,000 pounds (not guaranteed). The contractor must provide containers, perform removals as requested by the Government, and coordinate all activity through the Agency Government Representative (AGR). Resale or reuse of the property as usable property is strictly prohibited.

Key Requirements & Evaluation
A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Site Inspection is required (see IFB Section 3.3). Submissions must include Appendices A, B, and C. Pricing will be based on a percentage of a published market index (Fastmarkets steel shredder feed, FOB Southeast), and weight tickets must comply with IFB requirements. All amendments must be acknowledged. Award will be made to the responsive and responsible bidder whose bid is most advantageous to the Government, determined solely on the basis of price. Eligibility and responsibility are assessed prior to price consideration. A performance bond of $2,500 is required within ten (10) business days of award.
