Bid & Award Details
- Submission: Bids must be sent via email to cnrsw-qrp-sales@us.navy.mil using the provided bid sheet form. Bids must be legible, in ink or typed, and signed.
- Payment: The original bid amount is due prior to material transfer, payable to "U.S. Treasury" via bank draft or cashier's check (no cash). If actual quantities exceed estimates (up to 20%), an invoice for additional material will be issued within five business days of bid closure, with payment due within fifteen business days.
- Material Removal: Buyers are responsible for removing purchased material within fifteen business days of award (F.O.B. origin).
- Evaluation: Each lot will be awarded to the highest bidder. Tie bids will require revised submissions within one hour, or NRSW QRP may use other award methods. Winners will be notified in writing within two business days of bid closure.
- Post-Award Requirements: Purchased property must be completely destroyed by melting, shredding, or an equivalent method. Buyers are responsible for all applicable taxes and ensuring removal vehicles are properly licensed and insured.
