Scope of Work
The contractor shall furnish key personnel to provide onsite Interoperative Neurosurgery (IONM) Services. These services must cover the full range of IONM as provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility, meeting or exceeding national standards, including those from the American Association for Neurological Surgeons (AANS). Key requirements include:
- Provision of onsite IONM services at the Atlanta VA Health Care System, 1670 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA 30033.
- Contractor personnel must be certified for Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) and hold full, unrestricted licenses.
- Technical proficiency in English (speaking, understanding, reading, writing) is required.
- Compliance with all VA educational, mandatory course, and infection control requirements.
- Adherence to all VA Directives and Handbooks listed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
- Contractor must provide all necessary equipment for the Caswell Monitor System.
