- Fabrication: Aluminum grating sections to cover a trench that is 31 inches deep, 41 inches wide, and 92 linear feet. Panels should be approximately 24 inches in length.
- Design Specifications: Grating must be integrated with a solid aluminum plate and coated with a non-slip surface. Each section must weigh less than 60 pounds and support a design load of 150 pounds per square foot.
- Materials & Coating: Structural T6061 aluminum with a welded solid aluminum cover. The non-slip epoxy coating must achieve a dynamic coefficient of friction (DCOF) of 0.42 or a static coefficient of friction (SCOF) of 0.6. The specific epoxy color is "Armor Garage Granite (C1410)" or equivalent, with specified traction chips and flake coverage, and a Military Grade Topcoat for abrasion protection.
