Quick Summary
The Department of Defense (DOD) Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) – Troop Support has issued a Request for Information (RFI) regarding ISO Shipping Containers (FSC 8150). - Qualifying Country Steel Sources: Identification of factories/mills in qualifying countries capable of providing steel components for specific container NSNs.
- Domestic End Product Capability: Assessment of whether companies (dealers or manufacturers) can provide containers considered a "domestic end product" under the revised DFARS definition, which includes specific domestic content percentages and a revised threshold for iron/steel components.
