• Propane Tank: Install a 300-400 gallon propane tank at least 10 feet from the building/ignition sources, with code-compliant support and protective barriers.
• Piping & Hardware: Install exterior and interior propane piping, regulators, and valves; pressure test all systems; and label components.
• System Commissioning: Full system startup, verification of operation, final inspection sign-off from local building authority, and provision of all relevant documentation to BIA.

Performance Standards & Requirements

All work must comply with applicable Nevada state and local regulations, Uniform Mechanical Code (UMC), NFPA 54, NFPA 58, NEC, and IRC standards. A Nevada C-21 HVAC license is required. Final inspection and approval by BIA's Eastern Nevada Agency Acting Facilities Manager are mandatory. The contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and scheduling inspections. Environmental regulations must be followed for disposal, and releases over 25 gallons must be reported immediately.
