Scope of Work

This includes addressing deficiencies in fire alarm, sprinkler, and kitchen hood systems. Specific tasks are outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) for three Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs):
- CLIN 0001: Repair of Kitchen Hood Deficiencies at NFS, Canteen, and CLC locations.
- CLIN 0002: Labor and equipment for annual deficiency findings, including battery replacement and sensor strobe equipment in various buildings and the parking garage.
- CLIN 0003: Labor and equipment for quarterly sprinkler deficiency findings, including 5-year internal inspections, valve replacements, and gauge replacements across multiple buildings. All work must comply with the latest NFPA standards, Joint Commission standards, OSHA, and manufacturer requirements.

- Personnel Certifications: On-site supervisory employees must possess valid NICET-FAS Level 3 certification, and fire alarm technicians require valid NICET-Level 1 certification.
- Parts: All replacement parts must be Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). No remanufactured or gray market items are acceptable. Offerors must be an OEM or authorized dealer with OEM equipment certification.
- SBA Verification: Offerors must be SBA verified SDVOSBs with their status visible in the Small Business Search Certification at the time of quote submission and award.
- Subcontracting Limitations: Offerors must complete and sign the VA Notice of Limitations on Subcontracting – Certificate of Compliance, certifying that for services contracts, no more than 50% of the contract amount will be paid to firms that are not VIP-listed SDVOSBs or VOSBs.
