Quick Summary

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), specifically the St. Cloud VA Healthcare System, is conducting market research via a Sources Sought notice to identify Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) capable of performing vehicle repairs on a 2016 Chevrolet Express Cutaway 3500 van. This includes frame rust repair and windshield replacement. Responses are due by June 9, 2026, at 4:00 PM CST.

Purpose & Context

This is a Sources Sought notice issued solely for informational and planning purposes. It is not a solicitation or a promise to issue one. The primary goal is to conduct market research to determine the feasibility of an SDVOSB set-aside. If insufficient SDVOSB responses are received, the requirement may be solicited as a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) or Small Business (SB) set-aside. No award will be made from this announcement.

Scope of Work

The requirement is for repairs to a 2016 Chevrolet Express Cutaway 3500 139" WB 2-Door Van. The contractor will be responsible for supplying all supervision, labor, tools, and materials to:

  • Repair the rusted frame around the windshield.
  • Prime and paint the repaired frame to match the existing vehicle color.
  • Replace the windshield, associated hardware, and sealants.
  • Ensure the new windshield meets Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) specifications, Department of Transportation (DOT), and American National Standards Institute (ANSI) requirements. All repairs must be completed at the contractor's place of business in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The vehicle will be delivered to the repair shop during hours of operation (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM CST, Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays).
