Amendment / Modification

This amendment to Solicitation 36C24726Q0191 provides the following updates:

• Extends the Request for Information (RFI) due date to January 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM EST. No late RFIs will be accepted.

• Provides site visit information for the Atlanta VA Medical Center.

• The response date for the solicitation has been extended.

• Site visit details have been added.

• The deadline for submitting offers is extended to January 28, 2026, 1:00 PM EST.

• The RFI due date is extended to January 19, 2026, at 12:00 PM EST.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (RFQ) for commercial items, prepared in accordance with FAR subpart 12.6. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 7, is seeking quotations for the replacement of warehouse dock levelers at the Atlanta VA Medical Center in Decatur, GA. The existing hydraulic pit levelers are outdated and causing operational and safety issues.

• Removal of 2 existing Hydraulic Pit Levelers in dock 4 and dock 5.

• Installation of 2 new Power Ramp Hydraulic Pit Levelers with barrier lips.

• Installation of Trailer Restraints and Power Ramp Trailer Restraint Wheel Chocks.

• Installation of new 10” clear opening manual lift gates at all 6 dock positions.

• Specific technical requirements include dock leveler size (6' W x 8' L Nominal), capacity (35,000 pounds), 3" Rear Filler, 24" Pit Conversion, steel-faced bumper (5.25" x 24" x 11"), barrier lip, emergency stop button, and interlocking systems.

• Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price.

• Period of Performance: TBD, with a base POP from 01-06-2026 to 01-19-2026.
