Scope of Work
The requirement involves a turnkey installation of a new Trane Arctic Chiller with Pump Package. Key tasks include:
- Coordination for refrigerant recovery and removal of the old chiller.
- Mechanical installation: Disconnecting/reconnecting piping, replacing isolation valves, strainers, and temperature gauges, safe refrigerant handling, rigging old and new machines, and replacing damaged insulation.
- Electrical installation: Powering off equipment, disconnecting/reconnecting power and control wiring, adjusting breakers, and establishing BACnet integration.
- Installation of two refrigeration leak detectors in adjacent Air Handling Units (AHUs), wired to the E-Stop. The VA will provide crane access and parking. The customer (VA) is responsible for asbestos or hazardous material abatement. Excluded from the scope are roof repairs and concrete pad repair.
