Scope of Work

The contractor will provide all necessary equipment, personnel, and supervision for the removal of grease, garbage, and sewage from seven (7) grease traps and six (6) lift stations located at the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System. Key services include:

  • Scheduled Pumping: Monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual pumping for specific grease traps and lift stations across various buildings (e.g., Building 37, 101, 1, 100, 102, 46, 111, 1001, NCA Maintenance, Fisher House, 107).
  • Cleaning: Pressure cleaning of traps and lift stations, ensuring all four sides and the bottom are completely exposed.
  • Waste Removal & Disposal: Pumping out and removing all water, grease, garbage, sewage, and other accumulated matter. The contractor is responsible for the proper disposal of all waste from VA property. The waste hauler must be permitted in Pinellas County, and documentation of disposal (site location, gallons disposed) is required.
  • Operational Hours: All pumping must occur between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM. Monthly services are scheduled for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays during the first ten calendar days of each month. Quarterly services are in October, January, April, and July.
