VISN 5 The VA Maryland Health Care System is dedicated to improving the lives of Veterans and their families every day. Our health care teams are deeply experienced and guided by the needs of Veterans, their families, and caregivers. The Loch Raven medical center boiler program is comprised of 12 decentralized boilers across 7 buildings. The proposed contract will improve preventative maintenance, inspections and service maintenance to this equipment. Preventative maintenance involves functional checks, servicing, repairing, or replacing of necessary parts for all boilers on campus. These cost-effective practices keep equipment operational and running smoothly, reducing down time extending operating life and decreasing impact to patients.
