Quick Summary

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17, is conducting market research through a Sources Sought notice to identify qualified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) capable of providing services to replace a Heat Condensate Pump Skid B-1 at the Amarillo Veterans Health Care Facility in Amarillo, Texas. This is for planning purposes only; no formal solicitation exists. Responses are due by February 27, 2026, at 1:00 PM CST.

Purpose & Scope

The objective is to secure labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and components for the complete replacement of the existing Heat Condensate Pump Skid (Skid B-1). This includes the installation of a new Tiger Flow Condensate Return Skid (HTS-8000), which is a direct replacement, along with associated components such as a Taco heat exchanger, Hoffman vacuum breaker, pumps, valves, gauges, and a TIGERS EYE Mark VI-HVAC Variable Flow Closed Loop System Panel. The contractor will also be responsible for providing training on the operation of the new system.

Key Requirements

The scope of work involves a complete disassembly and thorough inspection of the existing system, followed by the installation of the new skid. Contractors must ensure all materials are new, defect-free, and asbestos-free. Special requirements include exercising extreme care to avoid damaging government property, restoring disturbed grounds, coordinating work with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) at least 3 days prior to starting, and providing daily progress reports. A site visit is highly encouraged to determine the full extent of the work. The contractor is responsible for disposal of removed materials, maintaining a clean work area, complying with NFPA and OSHA standards, obtaining necessary permits, and warranting work for one year.
