Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This solicitation is for repairs to an existing underground lawn irrigation sprinkler system (UGS) at the Grand Island VA Medical Center. The current system has been disabled for over two years due to damage from the installation of a new medical oxygen tank and security measures.

• Replace and restore full functionality of the UGS in an area of approximately 60'x 115'.

• Use current model parts from Rainbird, Hunter, Toro, or Orbit.

• Achieve 100% head-to-head coverage and supply correct volume for optimal working pressure.

• Install waterline tracing tape over supply lines (if possible).

• Use a mixture of rotary and fan type sprinkler heads as needed.

• Install a new valve box and controller.

• Provide a drawing of the complete system installation upon completion.

• Fully test all components, electronics, valves, and sprinklers.

• Adjust sprinkler heads to avoid overshooting sidewalks, parking areas, or the building.
