The contractor will be responsible for comprehensive electrical repairs, including:

  • Furnishing and installing one new S&C fuse holder assembly.
  • Cleaning and lubricating all mechanisms within Switch 1 (2 sets of 3) in accordance with NFPA 70B and manufacturer recommendations.
  • Field testing insulation resistance and contact resistance within Switch 1.
  • All necessary shutdowns, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and testing of energized parts per NFPA 70E.

Contractors must demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of successfully completed experience in repairing, testing, and performing LOTO on medium voltage equipment. Installing new equipment does not count as repair experience. If subcontractors are used, they must also meet this 5-year experience requirement.
