Scope of Work
The requirement is for Software Management Services (SMS) to maintain and operate the Alaris Infusion System from BD (formerly CareFusion). This includes various Alaris Infusion System components such as infusion pump modules (SYR 8110, Pump 8100, PCA 8120, ETCO2 8300), Alaris PC Unit 8015, Alaris Systems Manager, and associated software (Guardrails Suite MX, Guardrails Editor, Infusion Knowledge Portal, Alaris System Maintenance).
Services encompass:
- Software Management: System enhancements, patching, and updates for server and software components.
- Training: On-site nursing clinical support, workshops for Infusion Knowledge Portal adoption, online education access, monthly Suite training sessions, and tuition for VA representatives to attend System Data Workshops.
- Support: Phone/email access to Pharmacy Consultants (RPh credential, 3+ years BD CQI experience) and Insight Consultants (3+ years BD CQI experience), live technical phone support (8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST, Mon-Fri), and Insight Consultant data support (8:00 am - 7:00 pm CST, Mon-Fri).
- Data & Analytics: Real-time monitoring of Alaris Systems Manager, web-based analytics reports with unlimited user access, and quarterly data analyst calls.
- Maintenance: Delivery of software updates/enhancements within 60 days, on-site technical service visits for CQI data download and drug library upload, service patch management for Alaris Systems Manager and CareFusion Coordination Engine, remote server patch installation, and unscheduled maintenance with a 2-hour response time.

Submission Requirements
Interested firms must provide:

Information Security
