Scope of Work
The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System requires service and maintenance for two (2) Automed FastPak EXP machines and an additional Lower Packaging Unit. These machines are critical for packaging and barcoding medications in unit dose packages for inpatient administration. Services include:
- Unlimited 24/7/365 Telephone Support: For troubleshooting, remote diagnostics, patches, and software downloads.
- Unlimited On-Site Support: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., by trained Field Service Technicians. This includes all labor, travel, and parts costs.
- Preventative Maintenance: Two (2) scheduled visits per equipment per contract year, performed during business hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday). On-site services will be performed at the inpatient pharmacies located at University Drive and 1010 Delafield Road, Pittsburgh, PA. Equipment must be available for use 365 days a year.
