This solicitation is for the furnishing, installation, commissioning, and training of a continuous gas monitoring system at the St. Cloud VA Health Care System. The system will monitor sterilant gases (Hydrogen Peroxide and Peracetic Acid) in the Sterile Processing Service (SPS) area of Building 4 Basement.

• System Type: ChemDAQ Steri-Trac 2 or approved equal.

• Monitoring: Continuous monitoring of Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) and Peracetic Acid (PAA) vapors.

• Compliance: Must comply with OSHA standards (29 CFR 1910.1000) for Permissible Exposure Limits (PEL) of 1 ppm for hydrogen peroxide.

• Components: Fixed area monitors, remote displays, data acquisition system, remote video display, associated sensors, mounts, and accessories.

• Installation: Contractor must furnish and install all components, make final connections, and mount devices.

• Alarms: Local audible and visual alarms at each display and monitor location.

• Data Logging: System must be capable of data logging and trending.

• Training: On-site training for VA SPS staff and Biomedical Engineering personnel (minimum 4 hours).

• Documentation: As-built drawings and operation & maintenance manuals (2 hard copies + PDF).

• Accepted Manufacturer: ChemDAQ Steri-Trac 2 or equal. Any substitution request must include full technical data.

• Offeror Qualifications: Must be an authorized distributor/installer with factory-trained technicians and a minimum of five (5) years of experience installing, commissioning, and servicing similar systems in healthcare facilities.

• Contract Type: Firm-Fixed-Price.

• Period of Performance: Installation & Commissioning: May 1, 2026 – September 30, 2026. Staff Training: To be completed no later than May 15, 2026.

• Warranty: Minimum one (1) year parts and labor warranty.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, conducted using FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures), for a Gas Monitoring System for the St. Cloud VA Health Care System. The VA anticipates awarding one firm-fixed-price contract.

• Furnishing, installing, commissioning, and training for a continuous gas monitoring system.

• System must monitor sterilant gases (Hydrogen Peroxide and Peracetic Acid) used in Steris V-Pro maX 2 sterilizers and Medivators Scope Reprocessors.

Wage Determination
