Quick Summary
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is conducting market research to identify qualified firms for the replacement of an aging dental vacuum system at the Lee County VA Healthcare Center in Cape Coral, FL. This Sources Sought aims to determine the feasibility of an SDVOSB set-aside for this requirement. Responses are due by March 17, 2026.
Scope of Work
The requirement involves furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to remove the existing RAMVAC Dental Vacuum System and supply, deliver, install, test, and commission a new high-performance dry dental vacuum system. The new system should be 100% water-free (preferred), capable of supporting current and anticipated dental operations, ensuring reliable suction for multiple simultaneous users, minimizing downtime, reducing long-term maintenance, and enhancing bioaerosol removal. Tasks include a site survey, safe removal and disposal of the old system, installation in compliance with manufacturer specifications and codes, operational testing, and providing training and documentation to VA staff. Deliverables include certified disposal, a fully operational new system, test reports, training completion, manuals, and warranties (10-year pump warranty preferred).
