Justification & Eligibility
This acquisition is being conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. § 1901, as implemented by FAR 12.102(b). The Government has determined that Philips North America is the only responsible source capable of meeting the agency's minimum requirements due to the proprietary nature of the equipment, OEM-controlled maintenance authority, FDA regulatory requirements, and the need to maintain system integrity and uninterrupted clinical operations. Market research confirmed that only Philips Healthcare can provide the necessary safe, compliant, and uninterrupted maintenance and support.
Submission & Evaluation
This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. However, any interested party that believes it can meet the Government's requirement may submit a capability statement for consideration.
