Justification for Sole Source
The VA intends to award this contract to Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. because they are identified as the sole proprietor, holding patents and copyrights that prevent other contractors from meeting all service requirements. Siemens is the only company with remote access to its systems, capable of providing certified parts that meet OEM specifications, and employs the only OEM-trained and certified personnel authorized to work on this High Tech Medical Equipment (HTME).
Response Information

This evidence must be detailed enough to demonstrate the firm's ability to perform the requirements.
