Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, management, travel, and equipment for the maintenance and testing of VFD systems, including all drives on the provided equipment list. Services require certified technicians, specifically ABB Inc. certified for ABB equipment. Key services include:
- Preventative Maintenance Inspection (PMI) Plan: Development and execution of a plan covering visual inspection, cleaning, cooling system checks, inspection of line reactors, DC link reactors, isolation transformers, operator interface, power-on tests, harmonic filters, converter/inverter sections, capacitors, parameter settings, pre-charge circuits, firing tests, and load tests.
- Enclosures & Build-ups: Maintenance including visual inspection, cleaning, fan inspection/replacement, pilot light replacement, rotation verification, contact inspection, calibration of analog transducers, and tightening electrical connections.
- Infrared Scan: Thermal imaging report for VFDs and associated power equipment.
- Response Times: Preventative maintenance scheduled 24 hours prior. Emergency services require contractor presence on-site within four (4) hours of a call, working continuously until corrected. Corrective services require a quote for approval and are paid separately.
