The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 02 intends to solicit from a single source IAW FAR 13.106(b) to ensure the continued operational reliability of the facility's BioFire Torch Base & Torch Modules.

Anticipated Period of performance: 02/28/2026 to 02/27/2027, with 4 subsequent 1-year Option Years through 02/27/2031.

Basic description of the requirement: The scope of services includes a full service maintenance and support plan for the BioFire TORCH system located at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center, including extended warranty coverage for the listed BioFire TORCH analyzers and associated UPS equipment. The contractor is required to furnish all parts and labor to accomplish the task of all services outlined in this statement of work, including corrective and preventive maintenance, on site repairs, and UPS maintenance or replacement for the covered equipment. The contractor is also required to provide a 24/5 technical support hotline, meet specified response and on site service timeframes, and perform all in person maintenance and repairs necessary to ensure continuous operation of the BioFire TORCH systems throughout the base and option years of the contract.
