This solicitation is for full service and maintenance of VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) owned laboratory equipment. The contract will cover preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance repairs, and software updates for specific equipment to ensure continuous reliability.

• Scope: Full service and maintenance for government-owned lab equipment located at VAPHS, University Drive C, Pittsburgh, PA.

• Equipment: Includes Tissue processors (Epredia Excelsior AS), Cryostats (Leica CM1850), Coverslippers (Leica CV5030, Sakura 4740), Slide Stainers (Leica Autostainer XL), Embedding Centers (Sakura Tek 6), Microtomes (Epredia HM355S), and Slide Printers (Epredia Slidemate AS).

• Services: Preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance repairs, software updates, unlimited telephone technical support, labor, travel, and parts (unless excluded).

• Performance Standards: 98% system uptime guarantee per piece of equipment per quarter. Downtime scheduled for preventive maintenance or customer-scheduled events is excluded from calculation.

• Compliance: Adherence to NFPA-99, JC, NEC, OSHA, HIPAA, Federal and VA security specifications, and OEM specifications.

• Personnel: Contractors must provide proof of TB vaccination, flu vaccination, HIPAA compliance training, and possess OEM equipment training. Personnel must be "fully qualified" with established business and staff.

• Contract Type: Firm-fixed-price, five-year Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC).

• Period of Performance: Anticipated Contract Effective Date: 03/27/2026; Anticipated Contract Expiration Date: 03/26/2031.

• Estimated Value: $34 Million.
