Scope of Work
The contractor will provide comprehensive monthly office cleaning services for the Missisquoi NWR visitor's center, staff offices (7,250 sq. ft.), and two public bathrooms. Services include sweeping, wet mopping (polished concrete floors), dusting, wiping surfaces, emptying waste, cleaning bathrooms (fixtures, mirrors, toilets, sinks), and washing windows. The contractor is responsible for providing all personnel, supervision, transportation, materials, equipment, and supplies, with the exception of trash bags, toilet tissue, bathroom soap, and paper towels, which will be provided by the Government.
Work is scheduled bi-weekly (Thursdays or Fridays) from March to November, with a reduced scope (bathrooms and administrative offices only) from December to February. All work must be completed after regular business hours (4:00 pm). Performance standards require floors to be free of dust and streaks, and bathrooms to be clean, bright, and free of stains, mold, or odors. Environmentally friendly cleaning products are preferred.
