This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for janitorial services for the USDA, ARS Thad Cochran Southern Horticulture Research Center in Poplarville, MS. The acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide custodial services to the USDA, ARS, Thad Cochran Southern Horticultural Research Center located at 810 Hwy 26 West, Poplarville, MS 39470.

• Provide all labor, equipment, transportation, and necessary supplies not provided by the Government.

• Services include cleaning of offices, conference rooms, laboratories, hallways, restrooms, electrical rooms, entryways, and other specified areas.

• Specific tasks include sweeping, mopping, buffing, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, cleaning of fixtures, and glass cleaning.

• Services are to be performed in Buildings #38 (Main Lab), #42 (Headhouse), and the Shop.

• Floors must be clean, free of dirt streaks, stains, film, or standing water.

• Restrooms, fixtures, counters, and mirrors must be clean and free of stains, streaks, scum, scale, or rust.

• Exterior building doors and frames must be cleaned.

• Trash containers must be emptied and liners replaced.

• A "Services Performed" checklist and "Janitorial Services Inspection Report" will be used to track performance.
