• Lead-Based Paint Survey: HAZMAT material and its analysis are treated as separate line items. The survey line item covers only the survey cost, not the analysis.
• Other Survey Services (Asbestos, PCB, Mold): Similar to lead-based paint, these services should assume HAZMAT material and its analysis are separate line items.
• NIST SP 800-171 Compliance: Contractors are required to implement NIST SP 800-171 and must have at least a Basic NIST SP 800-171 DoD Assessment (not more than 3 years old) at the time of award. This requirement falls under CMMC Level 1 or Level 2.

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)
