To provide an established STEM education program for JROTC cadets to introduce them to scientific, technology, and engineering career opportunities, provide exposure to a college atmosphere and STEM curriculum, and inspire academic excellence and continued education.

• Provide personnel, equipment, supplies, and services for a two-day JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC) Bowie Encampment for 350 cadets.

• Deliver academic programs and career field exploration focused on personal leadership, character development, and STEM-related opportunities.

• Conduct 8 curriculum learning hours with instructors to coach, mentor, and guide cadets.

• Provide at least 10 teachers and 20 upper-level college students to mentor cadets.

• Offer specialized training modules in:

  • Drones in Action (including FAA Part 107 overview and hands-on flight)
  • CAD/3D Printing (using open-source CAD platforms and 3D printing)
  • Robotics (hands-on learning with operational scenarios)
  • Coding (programming, sensor integration, AI, and facial recognition)

• Provide a Certificate of Completion to each cadet.

• Performance standards must be met 100% of the time.
