Quick Summary
The Department of the Army, MICC-FT KNOX, has issued a Sources Sought Notice to identify qualified small businesses capable of providing comprehensive support for the Humble ISD JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC). This includes facilities, training, lodging, and meal services for 90 Cadets and 19 Cadre from June 18-20, 2026, at Newcombe Ranch, New Braunfels, TX. This is for market research to determine if a Small Business Set-Aside is feasible. Responses are due by May 07, 2026.
Purpose
This Sources Sought notice is for information and planning purposes only, not a solicitation. The U.S. Government aims to identify small businesses across all socioeconomic categories (8(a), SDB, HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB) that can meet the requirements for the JCLC. The intent is to set aside this requirement for small businesses if two or more qualified firms respond.
Scope of Work

- Training Facilities: High ropes, low ropes, zip lines, orienteering course, obstacle course, rappelling course, and a swimming pool with certified lifeguards.
- Lodging: Accommodations with adequate ventilation, personal space, and separate male/female bathhouses, ensuring facilities are non-smoking and not undergoing renovation.
