Scope of Work
This project aims to restore firefighting infrastructure at the Jeffco Airbase by addressing extensive cracking and deterioration on the ramp, helipad area, and parking lot. The scope includes:
- Crack Fill: Addressing up to 17,000 linear feet of cracking using hot-applied, aviation-approved asphalt binder.
- Sealcoating: Applying two coats of Polymer Modified Masterseal or an equivalent product to up to 160,000 sq feet of the ramp/helipad/parking lot.
- Painting/Striping: Restriping existing lines in the parking area with Colorado DOT approved traffic paint and the existing center line on the ramp with FAA Ramp paint.
- Safety Circles: Painting four 110-foot diameter circles with 5-inch wide lines, including alpha-numeric designations (H-1 to H-4).
Work must be completed and available for use within 3 days of commencement, with daily progress reports required. The contractor must coordinate with USFS personnel for access to the secure airport area and adhere to all airport rules.
