Quick Summary
The Department of the Air Force (AFRL) has issued a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for the Joint All-Domain Transformational Model – Battle Management Decision Advantage Sprint for Human-machine teaming events (JADPACT DASH). This BAA seeks innovative AI/autonomy approaches to enhance Battle Management capabilities within the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) Transformational Model. The goal is to involve warfighters in AI/autonomy development, identify areas for autonomy in Joint All-Domain (JAD) Battle Management, and foster industry connections.
Scope of Work
This opportunity involves participation in two-week Decision Advantage Sprint for Human-Machine-Teaming (DASH) events, held approximately every 2-3 months at the Howard Hughes Operations (H2O) Center in Las Vegas, NV. Each sprint will focus on a specific decision function from the Transformational Model – Battle Management (TM-BM). Participating software development teams will create applications/microservices to assist human-machine teams (HMTs) in achieving faster and higher-quality battle management decisions. Performance will be measured based on HMT decision speed, correctness, completeness, and user experience.
