Statement of Work (SOW)

To provide a dry, outdoor location for the construction and testing of large PIT antennas, and for other applications such as repairing trawl nets. This will enable reliable and repeatable testing results by protecting sensitive electronic equipment from extreme weather conditions.

• Move two existing 40-foot-long X 8-foot-wide Conex structures to create a U-shaped perimeter.

• Install three gravel pads (two for Conex boxes, one for vehicle access).

• Construct and install a metal or robust wood roof structure between two of the Conex boxes to cover the 40' X 20' space.

• Ensure the roof structure is designed to withstand heavy winds and precipitation, with a minimum height of 10 feet and a maximum of 20 feet.

• Minimize RFID interference by avoiding metal in the gravel bed and loose connections in the roof.

• All work to be completed within 90 days of contract award.

• Roof structure must be rated for heavy weather/wind and meet parameters of a manufactured structure.

• No fabric roof structures are permitted.
