Scope of Work
The requirement involves the purchase, installation, and programming of approximately 127 Dormakaba RFID keyless entry locks in Building 1690. Key tasks include:
- Removal of existing entry locks without damaging structures.
- Installation of Dormakaba RT Plus Locks (Part Numbers: 79PS016T1KL30-626 and KR30-626) and Kaba Lock Trim Plates (Part Number: 061-510799-630) in Satin Chrome.
- Programming all locks to modify Ambiance with lock and key design for new access points and updating the Ambiance software on the existing desktop computer.
- Familiarization training for dormitory staff on the new equipment.
Key Requirements
- Locks must be Dormakaba RT Plus with specific part numbers, a Standard ADB Mortise 1-1/4” face plate, deadbolt, Lori Type Cylinder, and Long/Long Lever in Satin Chrome.
- Compatibility with the existing Dormakaba Dormitory Campus System and programmability via the Ambiance System is mandatory.
- The contractor's installer must be Dormakaba certified for the specified lock types.
- Work hours are 6:00 A.M. – 3:30 P.M., Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays.
