• Access & Privacy: Contractor personnel must respect the privacy, dignity, and respect of the Hansen's disease patient community.

• Site Access: Advance notice (30 days) is required for planned service start dates. Overland travel using heavy machinery requires POC approval. Immediate work areas may be closed to the public; road closures require POC approval.

• Environmental Protection: Prevent damage to natural, cultural, and historic features. Restore any damaged areas at no cost to the Government. Do not remove or damage features not identified for disturbance without prior approval.

• Utilities: Locate and prevent damage to known utilities. Any damage must be repaired at no cost to the Government.

• Contractor-Furnished Equipment: Provide all necessary equipment, including disinfecting supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE). Equipment must be in good operable condition.

• Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE): NPS will provide a dump truck, backhoe tractor, push stump grinder, transportation to the job site, and barge transportation for vehicles/equipment.

• Personnel: Contractor personnel must present a neat, professional appearance, wear identifiable clothing, and be fully clothed. They must conduct themselves with tact and courtesy.

• Security: Personnel must obtain valid access permits in advance and acknowledge park regulations.

• Quality Control: Develop and maintain a Quality Control Plan (QCP) and program to ensure services meet commonly accepted commercial practices. Performance thresholds include no more than 3 validated defects per year for pruning, removal, and waste disposal. 100% inspection will be used for surveillance.
