Statement of Work (SOW)

To procure and deliver up to 2,000 gallons of Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel (red dyed, off-road) fuel to Kalaupapa National Historical Park, Molokai, Hawaii.

• Purchase and Delivery: Contractor shall purchase and deliver the specified fuel to Young Brothers (YB) Piers 39/40 in Honolulu on a date scheduled between July and August (to be confirmed after contract award).

• Fuel Truck Operator: Provide a qualified fuel truck operator to transport and dispense fuel into NPS-owned above ground fuel tanks at two designated locations in Kalaupapa.

• Logistics: Contractor is responsible for all labor, travel, materials, supervision, permits, licenses, insurance, and equipment. This includes arranging travel for truck operators to Kalaupapa (by air or trail) to arrive by 9:30 a.m. on barge day, retrieving fuel trucks from the pier, delivering fuel, and returning trucks to the pier for the return barge.

• Truck Requirements: Fuel trucks must be tandem-axle vehicles not exceeding 30 feet in overall length to meet barge and pier access restrictions. Contractor must provide truck specifications (GVWR, dimensions, VIN, license plate, color) after award.

• Fuel must be Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel (red dyed, off-road).

• Delivery to two locations: Pump House fuel tanks (approx. 3 miles from pier) and Facility Management fuel tank (approx. 1 mile from pier).

• Truck operators must arrive by 9:30 a.m. on barge day and depart after trucks are checked in for return.
