Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Performance-Based Work Statement (PWS) outlines the requirements for constructing a structural wall to enclose the cut end of a KC-135 Fuselage trainer. This is essential for creating a contained and usable workspace for the 555th Software Engineering Squadron (555 SWES).

• Fabricate and install a wall at the cut end of a KC-135 fuselage.

• Tasks include framing, sheeting, insulating, installing a standard door, and fabricating a secondary access panel.

• The contractor will frame the wall using provided 2"x4" metal studs and track, and sheath both sides with .060 4x8 aluminum sheets.

• Install a provided 3' standard door with knockdown frame, panic bar, and hardware.

• Fabricate and install a removable lower deck access door secured with quick-disconnect fasteners.

• Prep, prime, and paint the new wall (interior and exterior) to match the existing KC-135 fuselage color (FS 36173 Grey). The contractor is responsible for sourcing paint and supplies.

• The wall must be structurally sound, fully insulated, and sheathed on both sides.

• The installed door must be fully functional.

• The access door must be fabricated to fit the opening and properly secured.

• The interior and exterior of the wall must be painted to match the existing fuselage color with a uniform finish.

• Place of Performance: Tinker Air Force Base.

• Period of Performance (PoP): 60 days after receipt of order (ARO).

• Government Furnished Materials (GFM) will be provided, including aluminum sheets, metal studs, metal track, door components, and insulation. The contractor must safeguard all GFM.

• The contractor must establish a Quality Control Plan (QCP) compliant with ANSI, ASO, and ISO standards, submitted within 30 days post contract award.

• The contractor must comply with all Security, Force Protection, and Antiterrorism requirements, including base access procedures and identification display.

• Contractor personnel require specific training, including OPSEC, human relations, and security education, within 90 days of assignment, with annual recurring training.

• A Safety Plan must be established and submitted within 15 days after contract award.

• The contractor shall instruct employees in utilities conservation practices.

• Normal Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, 0600-1500, excluding Federal Holidays and base closures.
